Old Howling Bastard

Client: Blue Point Brewing Co.
Project: Illustration and Label Design

 

Long Island-based Blue Point Brewing Company approached me to design a label for their limited edition barley wheat wine. They said the name “Old Howling Bastard” was based on a crazy homeless person who was somewhat of a local legend. I illustrated the “Bastard” in all his glory for the label, along with a logo and government-approved text. The artwork was also translated into t-shirts, hats and other promotional items.
