Die Another Day was created for MGM Studios to promote the launch of this installment of their James Bond franchise on pay-per-view. The kits were sent to cable systems throughout the country to assist them in marketing the film to their consumer database.
The kit consists of an interactive CD-ROM and supplemental booklet. The packaging is designed at DVD case size, with two die-cut pockets for the materials. The CD itself is a mini CD with a clear substrate around it, bringing it to standard CD size. This gave it a very “spy gadget” look, which tied in nicely with the movie.
