Project: Interactive CD-ROM Marketing Kit
The Mummy Returns was the first in a series of interactive CD-ROM marketing kits created for Universal Studios. The kits were sent to cable systems throughout the country to assist them in marketing The Mummy Returns on pay-per-view to consumers.
This CD-ROM features character bios, movie synopsis, viewable movie trailer, as well as sneak peek video from The Scorpion King and upcoming video game. The main menu includes a “reflecting pool” which plays video from the movie when the main menu buttons are clicked. Background music from the film’s score plays throughout the presentation.
