Jurassic Park III was created for Universal Studios to promote the launch of most recent installment of their Jurassic Park franchise on pay-per-view. The kits were sent to cable systems throughout the country to assist them in marketing the film to their consumer database.
This CD-ROM features an animated Isla Sorna Map navigation menu. The sections of the
CD-ROM were broken down so that each one was represented by a part of the island. There is also a security camera system for the island, which plays video from the film. The viewer can click through the four different cameras, simulating different parts of the island. The CD also includes cast bios, movie synopsis, dinosaur encyclopedia, movie trailer and music from the film.
